2010 Dodge Viper

     Presenting the All New

2010 Dodge Viper

Styling

There's simply no comparison. Viper is hand-built to perform ferociously, with the looks to match. This ultimate performance machine is designed to be almost completely customizable with your choice of two body styles, sleek two-tone leather seating and a vibrant selection of exterior colors.

Get inside and you can feel the speed without even going anywhere.

  • Satin chrome-accented dash
  • 220 MPH speedometer
  • 7,000 RPM center-mounted tachometer
  • Easy-to-reach gear shifter
  • Aluminum, power-adjustable pedals (including a dead pedal).

Viper's quality design is clear with one glance, but it's absolutely irrefutable on the track. The performance hood features larger air extractors and louver screens, and an enlarged center scoop that provides true ram-air capability. Other styling cues like swept-back fenders and deep cut side scallops also help Viper achieve its legendary prowess.

Seating

Designed for optimum control and comfort, Viper's race-inspired cockpit would make a pilot jealous.

  • Bolstered, leather-trimmed front bucket seats
  • Suede Microfiber inserts
  • Quality accent stitching
  • Maximized dash space.

And to keep pace with Viper's vibrant exterior, the performance seating is available in smooth two-tone interior colors including: red / black, blue / black, slate / black and tan / black.

Wheels

They've got to look good, and they've got to withstand Viper's prowess. Done. Five-spoke polished forged-aluminum wheels are standard, with 18 x 10 inches in the front and 19 x 13 inches in the rear. Or choose the optional six-spoke or Razor wheels. Viper is sure to get noticed no matter what.

Powertrain

Yep, that's all it takes. And no, we're not kidding. The 8.4-liter V10 engine delivers 0 to 60 mph acceleration in less than four seconds. Or, just about the same time it'll take you to catch your breath.

Viper's six-speed manual transmission features 10 percent wider gears that increase shift quality and torque capacity to handle a whopping 560 lb-ft of torque. A sleek leather-wrapped ball shifter makes the connection while the twin-disc clutch brings reduced clutch-pedal effort and an improved engagement feel.

Handling

Own the road at every turn. Both the coupe and roadster have been designed with stability in mind. Viper's race-bred, fully independent, four-wheel suspension features:

  • Lightweight, high-performance aluminum control arms and knuckles
  • Lightweight coil-over shock absorbers
  • Strong GKN Visco-Lok® limited-slip rear differentials for exceptional power and torque balance.

Viper's wide stance and low center of gravity offer solid footing for a tighter drive. The roadster's sturdy structure is designed to deliver coupe-like rigidity without a top, and the coupe offers unrivaled stability with the double-bubble roof. Either way, you get 1.05g of taut handling on the road or on the track.

Braking

World-class Brembo® brakes, made with the most advanced technology, ensure remarkable performance. Viper is equipped with Brembo® 40/40 dual opposing piston calipers in the front, Brembo® 42/38 dual opposing calipers in the rear and 14-inch rotors all the way around. Brake from 60-0 mph in less than 100 feet.
